Spirit Cooking got misconstrued when the Pizzagate story hit. Spirit Cooking and child trafficking are not related, the confusion came from connecting the wrong dots. Child trafficking is happening in record numbers just probably not by ‘Spirit Cookers’. That would be way too obvious as the real story behind things always runs much deeper than expected. You might have heard of Spirit Cooking through the Wikileaks story when John Podesta e-mails went public:

The origins of Spirit Cooking didn’t start from a performance artist though. The origin of Spirit Cooking comes from ‘Cake of Light’ which is the equivalent to Catholic’s holy communion but is from Aleister Crowley’s ‘Thelema’ occult religion. An association between Spirit Cooking and sacrifice can exist then when reading Crowley’s book ‘Magick in Theory and Practice‘ he describes the best candidate when using a child for sacrifice.
